- He has developed a sweet little smile that he especially likes to flash after mommy gives him smooches or daddy makes silly faces.
- His head control is getting better by the day. Although our tummy time is slightly modified, Hayes still gets lots of chances to practice lifting his head and looking all around.
- Daddy is convinced that he is going to be a superstar athlete because he has such good eye-hand coordination. He is able to bring his hands together, grasp objects, and bring various things to his mouth...preferably your fingers!
- He loves to observe his surroundings and stare intently at interesting things that he sees. He is able to track objects that are moved in front of his face too.
- Our strong man loves to show off his skills by bearing weight on his arms as he lifts his head and pushing his legs to slightly lift his little body. This is usually accompanied by lots of grunts to show us just how hard he is working too!
- Along with his grunts, Hayes is communicating more and more. He has different cries for all of his needs, he has developed his own version of cooing, and he is making cute little vowel-sounds. We cannot wait until that sweet voice says the words "mama" and "dada"...I wonder which will be first...
