Muffins with Mom

After seven years of teaching, I have become very familiar with how the whole Muffins with Mom thing works.  Muffins and juice are neatly set out on the counters, the moms start shuffling in bright and early, the moms and the kids chow down on the yummy breakfast food and leave crumbs everywhere, and I frantically tidy up the room as the moms realize what time it is and hurriedly leave for work...  But wait.  Not this time!  Nope, I was the mom chowing down on the muffins with their sweet little one before frantically rushing out of the door for work...and it was great!  I will forever cherish this special morning that Hayes and I spent together, and I am already looking forward to many, many more Muffins with Mom in the years to come!
