- Head control is a skill that we continue to work on, and he seems to be doing better with every passing day. He loves to sit supported and is holding his head up for longer and longer periods of time. (A big feat when your tummy time is limited!)
- While sitting up, Hayes loves to look all around and take in the sights among him. Some of his favorite things to look at are people's faces, the trees and cars outside, and of course...PBS Sprout!
- After months of being just like his daddy, Hayes is finally starting to take after his mommy in one area - socializing! He adores being the center of attention, and he flashes his big grin at almost everyone he meets. The sound of his baby talk often fills our house, and his laugh seems to get louder by the day.
- All of the wonderful toys Hayes was given are finally being put to good use. He is now grabbing the toys that dangle in front of him, putting toys and stuffed animals in his mouth, and even passing his rattle back and forth between his two hands.
- Because Hayes is no longer content just lying around, we are constantly repositioning him in our laps - facing outwards against our chest, sitting on our knees, and now standing up for short amounts of time by bearing weight on his legs.
- Although his O hinders his center of gravity a little bit, he still manages to roll from his back to his side as well as from his side to his back. We are working with him to put it all together to make a complete roll! Stay tuned for a video once he achieves this big goal...
