Well, friends...Hayes is living proof that maybe there really is something to this whole cry-it-out method! Last night, he went down at 9:00 for his usual bedtime, got one dream feeding in the middle of the night, then slept until a little after 8:00 this morning! (FYI - A dream feeding is basically where you feed the baby while he/she is still asleep to ensure that a hungry belly does not wake them up in the middle of the night.) Although the uninterrupted sleep has felt amazing for this tired and sickly mama, I have to admit the best part is seeing how much Hayes benefits from the sleep training. He wakes up with a HUGE smile on his face and lets me know to come retrieve him from his crib in the morning with coos and baby babbles instead of the screams and tears that accompanied his wakings just last week. Check out how I found my sweet boy this morning...Dr. Ferber, the expert on children's sleep and leader of the cry-it-out method, would be so proud!!

My adorable little alarm clock..that is finally set for the morning!
All smiles after a good night's sleep!!
