Creative Commons License

You guys know I love to write...and take pictures...and share it all with the world!  But by doing all of this, I realize that it makes our family (specifically my favorite little guy) very vulnerable.  I am an honest and respectful person who would never dream of harming others, and sometimes I am guilty of assuming that the rest of the world is just like me.  However, I know that is not always the case.  So in order to take away the vulnerability just a little bit, I decided to protect the blog (and our family) with a Creative Commons License.  You can read all of the legal mumbo jumbo by following the link, but it basically states that if you were to take something from the blog...

• You must attribute the work in the manner specified by the author (me!)
• You may not use this work for commercial purposes
• You may not alter, transform, or build upon this work

And don't worry, I added a cute little icon to the bottom of my page just in case anyone ever forgets.

So, does this mean that nobody can ever snag a picture from the blog or quote something that I said?  Well, no.  It just means that you must abide by all of the rules above, and I would greatly appreciate if you asked me in advance as well.  We love sharing our story and educating others, but of course...I have to look out for the future of our family and my little number one - Hayes.
