Bye-Bye, Doctors...Hello, Pool!

This past week, I took Hayes for his final post-op appointment following his surgery last month.  Dr. Roy, our awesome ENT, said that his tubes were in his sweet little ears perfectly and that his frenectomy results were nothing short of amazing.  This was all super good news, especially since Dr. Tsao (you know...our beloved pediatric surgeon) had nothing but great things to say about his hernia incision and new circumcision when we went to see him a few weeks ago too.  Of course, I knew that Hayes was doing wonderfully...but to hear it from two men that I respect oh-so-much, that was priceless!

So what next?  Well...now that we finally have a healed little boy and a break from all of the doctor's appointments, I knew the first place that we needed to go - THE POOL!  Our neighborhood has a pretty cool set-up for little ones complete with a ginormous splash pad, a beach entry leading into a shallow children's pool, and a boat turned into a tot slide.  And since Hayes is now an efficient walker / climber / get-into-everythinger, I knew that he would just love it!  And you know what?  I was right!

Hooray for a healthy boy and his cool new blue earplugs!

All of that fun in the sun makes for one VERY hungry (and sleepy) little boy!
