Meet the Teacher

It's finally official...my little man is a big PRESCHOOLER!  Yup, he is at a big boy school...with a big boy table...and even a big boy playground!!  And last Friday, he had his first big event in order to start filling this role - Meet the Teacher.  Of course, it was held right-smack-dab in the middle of the day, so his beloved Shorty (who had been playing with him and loving on him all week) was the one who got to get him all ready and drive him over there.  But never fail - I was able to sneak over during my lunch break to join him and meet the whole new preschool crew too!  His teachers were so sweet as they listened to his story and asked all kinds of questions, and Hayes had a blast exploring his new classroom and meeting some new friends.  Cody and I are confident that this is going to be a great change in all of our lives, and we are just thrilled to see what all this school year will hold!

 But then he started to meet some friends...

 ...and checked out the durability of the furniture.

 

Now, he is all ready for his first day as a preschooler!!
