This weekend we celebrated our very first Christmas of the year! (Throughout the holidays, you may notice that we have a very systematic plan in place to make sure that we get to celebrate the holidays with all sides of our families each year.) Well, first up this year was Christmas with my side of the family! My brother and sister-in-law graciously opened their home to everyone this weekend, and we had a beautiful time celebrating the holiday together all weekend long. It is kind of neat to look through the pictures from this weekend because so few of them are about opening presents or wrapping paper covering the house. They are all just sweet candids of the boys playing outside laughing and smiling and the girls chatting and spending time in the kitchen. Which is exactly what we did. We just spent time together soaking up the blessings of the season!
A little cousin snuggle time with Rhett...
...and then a little bit of trouble with Reid!
Jump, jump, jumping on the trampoline.
Dig, dig, digging in the dirt.
Look at that big boy climbing up the playscape all by himself!
Sweet Cora supervising it all!
Riding on the tractor during the day...
...and in the wagon at night.
Can't forget about the presents that the little ones received.
Even our sweet baby girl got an adorable outfit to wear!
Our first Christmas of 2012 was definitely merry and bright!
