Hadley - Three Months Old

Another month has come and gone in our beautiful baby girl's life, and it has been filled with so much fun!  Her little personality is really starting to emerge, and we are all having so much fun watching it develop.  She is the easiest and sweetest little baby in the world, and everyone who meets her instantly falls in love.  But with a constant smile and dimples to match, who could blame them?!  Here is just a little glimpse into what our sweet pea is up to these days...

• Eating - Homegirl still LOVES to eat, but she is finally going for longer stretches and not needing to be attached to me all the time.  Just most of the time now.  And you know what?  At this point - I will take it!  Oh, and Cody finally got her to take a bottle too!  She will only take about an ounce of expressed milk, but it is usually enough to tie her over if I have an appointment or need to leave the house for an hour or so.
• Sleeping - Still a champion sleeper at night...woo-hoo...but her daytime naps are kind of all over the place.  Typically, she dozes while we are out and about in the morning or driving around in the car, and most of the time she will take a pretty good nap while big brother is asleep and the house is quiet.  But we are still working on getting things more consistent...and in her own bed!  (She just loves being close to me during the day and wants to nap snuggled up on my lap or on the couch right next to me.  And it is hard to say no to those sweet snuggles!)
• Thinking - You can constantly see the wheels turning in her precious little head.  I love how she is just taking everything in and exploring her world.  She is so curious and observant, and I love to watch her learn and tell her all about everything she is taking in.
• Talking - Hadley is the most social little thing I have ever seen!  She insists on being right in the mix and will loudly protest if others are having fun without her.  She has also become quite the giggle box lately.  Her laughs are so very cute, and I will do just about anything to get one out of her!
• Moving - Our sweet girl continues to blow us away with her motor skills!  She loves to sit up with support (on the couch, in our lap, with the Bumbo).  She loves to stand up on our laps and bear all of her weight on those chubby little legs.  She loves to reach and grab her toys and then devour them in her mouth.  And she is even beginning to love tummy time, so she is not rolling over quite as much as she used to...but I guess that may be a good thing??

(Unlike Hayes, little miss rarely has a doctor visit...so that means no more growth checks. 
Curious how much she will be at her 4 month well visit.  Any guesses?)

 

**BIG BROTHER UPDATE** - Three months in and Hayes is still head over heels for his little sister, and he is really getting a kick out of her now that her little personality is starting to bloom.  He loves making her smile, and she loves smiling at him.  It is perfect, and I find my heart pitter-pattering countless times a day.
