Counting Our Blessings - 2013 Edition

I cannot believe this is my fourth edition in what has become somewhat of a series of thankful posts.  I just got done taking a look back over years past to see all that I have given thanks for, and I am in awe of how much our cups runneth over.  This year has definitely been filled with twists and turns and highs and lows, but at the end of the day - we are so truly blessed.  Now let's count those blessings...

• The Lord and our faith is at the top of our list...as always.  We are so thankful to have a God who is so loving, so forgiving, and so gracious, and we are blessed that we have (finally) found a church home where we can go to worship Him and find fellowship too.
• We are thankful for our two beautiful children.  We are so very blessed that we were chosen to be their parents, and we are amazed at how two little people could change our world in such a monumental way.  They complete us.  They make us whole.  They make us happy.  We are so madly in love with them, and we remind them of that every minute of every day.
• We are thankful for our family.  The ones we see often, and the ones we don't see often enough.  We are surrounded by so much love and so much support.  And for that we are truly blessed.
• We are thankful for our friends...who are like a second family to us.  We could not be more grateful for the friends we have had forever and the friends who just entered our lives over the past year.  Our lives are richer because of each and every one of them.
• We are thankful for the opportunities we have been given.  We took a HUGE leap of faith when I quit my stable teaching career to start my own business, but it has been totally and completely worth it.  We are thankful for trusting in the Lord and the path he lays out.  It is so much more fulfilling than we could ever imagine.
• We are thankful for our quaint little home.  Over the past year it has seemed to shrink in size and double in memories.  But we love our little place in this world - all 1800 square feet of it.
• And as always, we are thankful for another beautiful year shared with each of you.  Thank you for joining in on the rollercoaster of our lives.  We are so happy that you take a few minutes out of your day to join in on ours!
