Friday night was a BIG night for my two special guys. It was a night that Hayes had been talking about all week. And a night that his daddy had been dreaming about since finding out he was having a little boy. It was Hayes's very first time to go see a major league baseball game...and the boys were leaving the girls at home! At first, I was super bummed to miss out on such an exciting first in my little boy's life...but with a two month old who likes to nurse pretty much all evening long, it just did not make any sense. And you know what? A little boy going to his first baseball game is kind of a rite of passage. A special adventure that him and his daddy need to embark on alone. Sooo...I took a deep breath and sent my boys off with a diaper bag stuffed to the brim and strict instructions to text me pictures of the whole night. And this is what I got...

He was in awe of the super cool stadium and all of the players on the field.
Time for a snack - he loved the cheese crackers I had packed for him...
...that is, until he discovered the nachos in the concession stand...
...and the cotton candy sold by the vendors...
...and the ice cream served in an upside-down baseball cap!
He sure did love his first trip to the game - the stadium, the action on the field, and the FOOD!!
